An important issue that matters to me is violence against women and girls. There is a great need for young people to begin to participate in development processes; but widespread ignorance on critical issues, such as budgeting, can hinder the development process. Another issue that matters to me is the gap between youth and policy makers, but building a bridge between this gap will remain elusive as long as youth remain ignorant on the policy issues that affect all of us. I am inspired by Youth, by Voice, and by people who care. I am also inspired by the beauty of the world, which I think consists of nature, of art and of community. I am involved in theatre, and literature: I was recently published in a book about Indigenous identity, the environment, and co-habitation and communication between Indigenous peoples and French Canadians in Québec.
